“S.A.L.T.” is the acronym for the new “brand name” for the Senior Adult activities at First Baptist. “S.A.L.T.” stands for . . .Seniors Actively Living Today
When you see S.A.L.T., you will know that some top-notch activities have been prepared to appeal to a wide-range of senior adults, aged 55 and above. Some will be more attractive to the more active retired, and others will be especially appealing to those who have earned a slower pace in life. Activities such as our quarterly Senior Adult Luncheons will be equally enjoyed by all seniors. SALT will encompass exciting day trips to unusual places of interest, overnight trips with lots of cool things to see, to game and movie times at the church with plenty of good fun and warm fellowship.
Every time you see or hear an announcement about SALT think of it this way:
Is this something that I would enjoy?
Is this something I need to tell a family member or friend about?
Is this an event that I can use as an outreach tool for our church?
Let SALT add flavor to your life! Click here for a Brochure with more information.

![]() | Wednesday Nights 6:30 pm We talk as though we know what Grace means. But do we really understand it? Have we settled for wimpy Grace? It politely occupies a phrase in a hymn, fits nicely on a church sign. Have you been changed by Grace? Shaped by Grace? Strengthened by Grace? Emboldened by Grace? Softened by Grace? God's Grace has a wildness about it. A white-water, riptide, turn-you-upside downness about it. Grace is the voice that calls us to change and then gives us the power to pull it off. Let's make certain Grace gets you. Men: Join us for a conversation Wednesday nights. | ||

Holy Rollers Bowling League Roswell First Baptist has six teams of four men and women bowlers who bowl each Monday night at 7 p.m. at Roswell Bowling Lanes. The Holy Rollers season started in September. They share fun and fellowship weekly as they bowl. The Holy Rollers enjoy a great time every time they bowl. The league is headed by Chris Rowe. For more information on the bowling league or how to get involved contact Robert Turnbull in the church office at 770-587-6980 or Chris Rowe.
Children and Youth Basketball League The season ended in early February but what a successful season we enjoyed. All the boys and girls teams played hard and were victorious in almost every outing. The coaches and kids were right on and the season was a wonderful experience in Christian sportsmanship. Over 40 children played this season. If you have children ages 7-15 don’t miss the sign-up in the fall for this fun and exciting basketball league.
Go Green and Bike with us! Each Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. several members meet in the back parking lot near the playground and ride bikes throughout Roswell. It is a real workout. If you enjoy biking and would like to be a part of the group we welcome you. Bring your bike and gear and come be a part of the Beamers. More information is available contact Doug Ray, Ted Chappell or Robert Turnbull for more information.
