The school
age years build on the spiritual foundation that is laid in
the preschool years. During the school-age years children
begin to develop friendships at church and this can be one
of the strongest benefits the church provides for your
family in an extended “family” of both adult and childhood
friends who support positive Christian values.
As the
children continue to grow in their spiritual journey they
are offered opportunities to not only learn the Bible verses
and stories, but they learn how these apply to their lives
in every day circumstances. Biblical teaching for children
is only effective when application is taught along with
memorization of God’s word.
There are four basic concepts
we teach children about God:
*God is Love
*God is Forgiving
*God is Ever-Present
*God is Faithful
