Hope for
Grieving Children provides a safe and supportiveenvironment where children grieving a death can share
their experiences with each other. This program offers a
unique opportunity for children to begin and continue their
journey as they move through the healing process. This
program also extends supportive services to family,
caregivers, schools and the community.
The
Hope for Grieving Children program believes every child
deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive and
understanding environment.
The
program encourages the expression of grief experience
verbally and through creative positive play within a peer
group setting. The groups are open to grieving children
ages 7 to 16.
